Here are some notes related to RF Math:
Quote:

-3dB = Half the Power in mW
+3dB = Double the Power in mW
+10dB = Ten times the Power in mW
-10dB = One tenth the Power in mW


To convert from mW --> dBm
Code:

dBm = 10logmW
You can also use the rule of 10's and 3's.  Also remember that "dB" calculations are "ADDITIVE" you do not have to calculate them one by one, instead you can add up every thing and then do the final math.


To Convert from dBm --> mW
Code:

mW = 10^(dBm/10)


I am still trying to figure out the dBm -->mW conversion.
